How to Read Swedish Hiring Signals
A useful hiring analysis starts with a precise question and a clearly defined observation. This guide explains how to turn job-posting evidence into a defensible comparison.

1. Define the population and period
Specify which sources, locations and role families the analysis includes. Choose a time window and say whether you count publication dates, discovery dates or ads that remain open.
For ReJob’s public counts, non-archived records form the population and record creation dates determine the seven-day and thirty-day discovery windows. These definitions must accompany any citation.
2. Keep the counting units separate
Advertisements, positions and employers are different units. One advertisement can describe several positions. Employer names can have variants, and an agency may advertise for a client.
A city count can include a multi-location ad in several places. A skill count can overlap other skills. Do not add category totals and label the sum as unique jobs.
3. Separate evidence from hypotheses
An Azure requirement is evidence that Azure appears in the advertised work. It does not establish a migration budget or prove that the entire company uses Azure.
To argue that demand is growing, provide comparable counts from at least two periods, their coverage and their definitions. Without a comparable baseline, describe the current observation rather than a trend.
4. Make a result reproducible
Include the retrieval date, count definitions, source context and any exclusions beside the result. Explain the chart in text and provide a table where a reader needs exact values.
